Lauren says, “Deep burgundy. Aroma of red cherry, violets, and fennel. Full body. High acidity, high tannin. Flavor of licorice with some smokiness. Would be excellent with red meat. 9/10.”
Zach say, “Garnet red in the glass. A little muted on the nose, but pleasant. Notes of mint, red berry, pleasant. Medium plus bodied. High tannin. High acidity. Beautifully bracing and sharp, yet enough acidity to balance out chewy tannin. I really enjoy this. I’d imagine may would need some meat, but I do not. 9.5/10.”
