Lauren says, “Dark Ruby in the glass. aroma of cassis, dark fruit, and cigars. Full bodied. Almost jammy. With time, the scent develops into a sweet cherry pie. Fruity beginning of plums and cherries. Some black tea, licorice, and cocoa in the mix. Tannic and smooth. An ending full of tannins and sweet figs that lingers. This would be amazing with steak. I honestly love it for a heavy red. It has good balance and isn’t too sweet. 9/10 right now. I imagine with an hour of aeration it could be a 9.5. I really enjoy how it changes in the glass. It has complexity.”

Zach says, “Rusty cherry red in the glass.  Nose is complex.  There is a lot to take in on nose.  At first there are heady molasses notes, which make way to crème de cassis and malted milk balls. Full bodied. Voluptuously tannic. A flare of red fruit acidity chimes in as tannins reach full throttle. Very very long finish. Literally 20-30 seconds. I can tell this is very good/concise. Great complexity. My only fault is stylistic in that I like more dryness and acidity up front as this drinks like a dessert wine in many ways. 8.3/10.”
