Lauren says, “Garnet red in the glass. Very potent aroma of eucalyptus, black cherry, and licorice. Medium bodied. Decent acidity. High tannins. Flavor of baking spices, anise, and black currant. Very decent. High fruit content. If you like a jammy cab, this might be for you. It definitely has a fruity finish, so those liking fruitier endings will enjoy. It is 6/10 for me because it might be too “artificially fruity” for my own taste.”

Zach says, “Rusty red in the glass. The nose is potent and evocative. I am immediately transported back to Bern’s where I first tried  crème de cassis. The nose is predominantly that of crème de cassis. There are subtle notes of peat moss, cherry, permanent marker, and mint. Full bodied. High alcohol content. Heavy and rich. Medium acidity. Very forward and perhaps unbalanced. It has something to say, but does anyone want to hear it? I think I might. 6/10.”
