Wine list:-18.jpeg

Pouilly Fume, 2016.
We ate at Woody’s on the water and enjoyed a nice evening.

Lauren states, “Very sharp and crisp. Would be refreshing with a meal. Alone it is overpowering. Not much else to it than that. 5.5/10”
Zach states, "Nose of tart chalk with slightly flat and floral undertones. Very sharp and uneventful. You expect there to be more on the finish but it leaves you hanging waiting for something to occur but leaves you with nothing but a dry bitterness. Overall, there is something unpleasant about the wine that is hard to describe, but not horrible. 4/10."

UPDATE: 6/9/17 – With hummus and champagne cheese
Lauren states, “It is deceiving when you first taste it you think it will be crisp and clean with your meal, but then it finishes with a disappointing sharp bitterness. 4/10 now, thinking it would be good with a meal -still drinkable. Undrinkable is a 3.”
Zach states, "Smell and flavor are incongruent. Tastes okay with just cheese, but still has odd sweet, bubble gum smell and bitter taste that is super unsettling and unfortunate. 4/10″
